“ First time at Mother Hubbards even though I've wanted to go for a very long time. Came here with my family, ordered the normal fish and chips. Portion size was really good for what you pay. The fish batter was crispy, just how I like it. I'm not a big fan of curry sauce, but I do like to try different ones. The curry sauce from here tasted too much of cardamom, so I wasn't keen. Place had an adequate amount of seating. A couple of little complaints, the server did mess up our order, but it was easily rectified, and everyone was happy. Also 1.20 for a can is a bit extortionate. But we would definitely go again, especially when we're craving fish and chips. ”

Here you get a super jumbo fish in a pizza box for 17.99, which is the size of 3 or 4 fish in Chester! The taste is how i would expect it, fresh and clean. Fish is not heavy on batter and oil, they also so busy so you know food is going to be fresh. ”
